Environmental report

Environmental laws encompassing many protected subject categories, in particular people, water, soil, air etc. form a highly complex framework which determines and controls significantly the entire operation of a steel mill.

The present environmental report explains the relevant processes in the steel mill and draws conclusions on emissions and use of resources. The goal is to explain the varied and environmentally relevant measures in the complex steel manufacturing process as well as our environmental programmes in a manner that is transparent and exhaustive, but also comprehensible to the general public for a better understanding of the issues.
